UPDATE:

From an anonymous source, via our tipline:

In the DC office, at least two paralegals were let go as well as someone in marketing and someone in HR. Four secretaries in litigation were let go and one secretary in PLP was given the axe. John Dowd’s secretary is among those who were let go. I know that there are more but I don’t know who yet.

UPDATE 2:

From another source, who requested anonymity:

From what I’ve been told by one of the people laid off, there were six people laid off in the Akin Gump Houston office. Of the six, I know one paralegal, two secretaries, and two conference room staff. Not sure who the sixth person was.

Thanks!
