Ferrell Law Shuts Down After Founder’s Death

Litigation boutique Ferrell Law is shutting down after the 2008 death of its founder, Miami attorney Milton Ferrell Jr.

Although it announced it would continue without Ferrell, the firm has been shedding lawyers since the death last November from complications of mesothelioma.

It was suggested at one point that Ferrell’s daughter Whitney would take over after she graduated from law school.

The firm has shrunk from almost 70 attorneys in 17 offices last year, to 20 attorneys this year.

One group of former Ferrell partners has launched WNF Law, to handle some former Ferrell clients.
