White & Case Names Five Overseas Partners

New York-based White & Case has promoted five overseas attorneys to partner. Two from the firm’s office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Zeeshan Ahmedani and Phillip Power, were awarded partner status. They are both members of White & Case’s global mergers and acquisitions practice, the National Law Journal reports

In London, Jeremy Duffy, a part of the firm’s global banking practice, was promoted to partner. The focus of his practice includes cross-border senior and mezzanine acquisition finance and real estate finance.

Irina Nesvetova was made partner at White & Case’s Moscow office. She is a member of the firm’s global banking practice and her practice’s focus includes project and trade finance. Finally, in Prague, Jonathan Weinberg was promoted to partner. He is also a member of the firm’s global banking practice. Weinberg’s practice focuses on asset finance transactions and leveraged buyouts in a number of countries.
