International firm Baker Botts said Tuesday it has promoted 13 lawyers to its partnership, effective Jan. 1. The group will be the 78^th to be promoted to partner in the firm’s 170-year history.

Managing partner Walt Smith called Baker Botts’ newest partners “a diverse group of lawyers representing a broad spectrum of practice areas.”
