Hofstra Law School will now be renamed Maurice A. Deane School (MAD School) because Hofstra Law has received a $20 million gift from Maurice A. Deane a distinguished a business executive is also an alumnus of the school for thirty years. Now, the question is, who gets to spend the money? Will it pass down to the students?
