Happy Friday! I’m sure those of you who had to head back to work this week are appreciating this three day week, it’s almost the weekend! I’m a little sad because a couple of my good friends are heading home on Sunday, so it means only a little time left with them. But nevertheless, everyone loves the weekend!
With 2012 coming to a close, it’s only traditional to do a few re-caps to look back over the year, what we’ve accomplished and how we’ve changed. I saw Lindsay do this post last week and I thought it would be fun to look over all the races that I did in 2012, since it was a pretty big year for me! I actually remembered a few races while doing this that I’d completely forgotten about!

I love reading these :). Looks like you had a great year of racing– hopefully 2013 will only be better!
I sure hope so, but this was quite a year! Lots of new distances!
Races are so fun, especially the party at the end!
Haha I always miss the party, either too cold or ready for a shower!
Looks like a great year of racing!

Whoa. I didn’t realize you ran your first half marathon and full marathon in the same year! That is an awesome claim to fame.
Haha yep, I signed up for Chicago before I’d even run the half!
Awesome year, hun!! So many accomplishments here…I hope you’re proud of yourself 🙂
Thanks, Caitlin!

You had some great races this year!
Awesome racing year!! Great recap!
Congrats on all of your races! I ran 7 in 2012, and I haven’t signed up for any 2013 ones yet, so who knows what’s in store for next year!
That was SOOO fun to read!
2 races–a half marathon & a Half Iron Man! 🙂
I love this recap! What a great year of races for you. I am disappointed that I didn’t run any races in 2012. One of my New Year’s Resolutions is to run at least 3 races in 2013 – I am going to start looking and registering next week 🙂
8 races in one year, that’s amazing! I am not into marathons, but I really want to do a Tough Mudder this year!
I did not participate in any races, or much running for that matter at all. Haha. But I love reading race recaps, and this was quite awesome! I’ve seen some homemade info-graph race recaps that were pretty sweet too 🙂
Congrats on all of the great runs! My favorite run has been my first 10 miler I completed this past spring. I hope to run another one next year! Have a great New Year’s Eve! 🙂
Looks like you had a great racing year! I hope 2013 is just as good for you! 🙂
