Actress Keira Knightley, of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ fame, was recently engaged to rocker James Righton. The two were seen walking around the streets of London hand-in-hand and enjoyed some public displays of affection on Sunday. What stole the spotlight from the two while on their walk was the diamond sparkling ring on Keira’s finger. The couple could not hide their affection for one another as they kissed multiple times while walking down the street. The ring on Keira’s finger is a circular diamond and a gold band that is very simple.
Knightley is 27 and Righton, the keyboardist for Klaxon, is 28. The couple had been dating for 15 months prior to them announcing the engagement. The couple has not released any other information about a possible wedding date, how the proposal occurred or if any wedding plans have been in motion yet.
The couple was introduced by a mutual friend back in 2011 and started dating not long after Knightley ended a five-year relationship with Rupert Friend, an actor. The couple continually shows off their relationship while walking on the streets of London but they have not appeared at a public event together. Knightley was in the cast of the first three ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ movies.
