In a press release, the law firm of McCarter & English LLP announced that Heidi E. Opinsky has been added to firm as a partner. Opinsky will be working out of the offices in New York City and Stamford, Connecticut. Opinsky has been practicing family law for over 27 years and will be responsible for counseling clients regarding child support, alimony, divorce, property law and domestic violence.

Opinsky said, “McCarter has a great reputation in Connecticut and New York, which provides me with a solid platform for my regional practice. I see it as a positive step forward for the firm to want to grow its business in family law, an ever-changing and increasingly challenging legal area.”
Opinsky worked as a partner in family law at Fox Rothschild LLP in Connecticut and New York before joining McCarter & English LLP. She earned a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and a B.A. from St. Lawrence University. Aside from being permitted to practice law in Connecticut and New York, Opinsky is also admitted to the bar in Washington, D.C and the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
