Kanye West made a very interesting announcement about his girlfriend and himself while performing at a casino in Atlantic City on Sunday night. West, in the middle of his performance, announced that Kim Kardashian is pregnant with his child.
West made the announcement in the middle of singing the following line, “God brought us a whole new plan, baby. ‘Cause now you’re having my baby.'”
When West began to transition into a new song, he asked the crowd the following, “Can we make some noise for my baby mama right quick?” You can check out the video embedded in this post.
Sources for TMZ say that Kardashian is 12 weeks pregnant and that multiple members of the family have known about it for quite a while now. Not long after West made the announcement on stage, Khloe Kardashian published the following tweet: “Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members! Especially when you are so freaking excited!!!”
Kourtney Kardashian then tweeted the following: “Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can.”
Kim confirmed the baby news on her personal website Monday morning, saying, “It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family.”
