Starlet Nicole Kidman was on a NYC sidewalk outside the Carlyle Hotel in the Upper East Side when a freelance paparazzo accidentally ran into her with a bike. The actress was knocked down and the bicyclist was on the ground with everyone scowling at him. Famous Nicole Kidman will press charges against him as he was illegally riding the bicycle on the sidewalk. NYC has specific bike lanes that prohibit bikers from using pedestrian sidewalk. Among the things that police can give you tickets for, not riding on the street in designated lanes is one of them.
An observer told TMZ that Kidman was shaken more than hurt, while another witness said that Kidman definitely would press charges. There was no blood at the scene, according to a witness who saw the incident. “She put her shoes back on and ran into the Carlyle.” Later an ambulance arrived to make sure everything was ok with Nicole, just to rule out any internal organ injuries etc. It was reported that the bicyclist would get a ticket issued to him, but that he wouldn’t be arrested or anything else. Nicole Kidman’s representatives did not return requests for comments and the star hasn’t released statements on the situation.
