The posting included an accumulation of these clippings from the police blotter, the review of the Atherton crime circled in red. The article on the site is titled, “Atherton is the Home of the World’s Dumbest First World Problems, if You Can Believe These Ridiculous Newspaper Clips,” and rightly so. Emilie Avenue, 1:26 p.m. Saturday to prevent further complaints a resident volunteered to remove a chair hanging from a tree. Irving Avenue, 7:47 a.m. Tuesday a landlord/tenant dispute involving assault with frozen food was reported. In Atherton, California, the site reports that the average house costs $4 million. Atherton is an incorporated town in San Mateo County, California. Atherton is one of the wealthiest cities in the United States. In 2010, Forbes magazine placed Atherton’s zip code of 94027 at #2 on its annual list of America’s most expensive zip codes. I suppose they are just really bored.
