“Roseanne” star Sara Gilbert married musician Linda Perry on Sunday, March 30, according to a representative for the actress. US Weekly was the first to report the news.
Gilbert’s co-hosts from “The Talk,” which airs on CBS, were guests at the ceremony. The couple is on their honeymoon now. Aisha Taylor, one of Gilbert’s co-hosts, posted the following tweet about the ceremony using the talk show’s Twitter account:

Juliette Lewis was also in attendance for the ceremony. She tweeted the following:
“Holiday by Madonna playin, sun is beaming,gettin ready 4 the wedding of 1of my fave couples in the universe @RealLindaPerry @THEsaragilbert”
The couple first started dating back in 2011, with Perry proposing in 2013.
“She goes to her backpack and she pulls out these T-shirts and the first T-Shirt says ‘will’ and then puts on another T-shirt and it says, ‘you,’ then ‘marry,’ ‘me,'” Gilbert explained on her CBS show. “It was the most amazing proposal ever.”
Back in September Gilbert talked openly about her sexuality on the show. She said she knew she was gay when starring on “Roseanne” in the 1990s. Gilbert did not come out publicly until 2010.
“I want to live a true life,” she said. “Beyond that, we do often say things like ‘it gets better’ — and it does get better. I have an amazing life, but there can still be a struggle with it, and that’s ok. There can be a part of you that doesn’t want to be different or feel scared. And that is more important than any of it.”
