A technology startup that is headquartered in California, but incorporated in Delaware, has hired

The corporate counsel for the company will be Perkins Coie’s Peter Townshend.
“Perkins Coie is thrilled to team up with Ciphrex and to further extend our law firm’s participation in the highly innovative field of virtual currencies,” Townshend said. “Ciphrex is a leading bitcoin software provider and we look forward to helping them with their legal needs as they advance their pioneering technologies.”
Ciphrex Corp is going to acquire Ciphrex LLC, which is based in California, and all of the intellectual property from Ciphrex LLC will be assigned to Ciphrex Corp. The company provides software that specializes in the cryptographic transaction processing (CTP) space.
