Allen’s most recent work includes the class action suit brought against SiriusXM Radio Inc. His clients, Flo & Eddie of The Turtles sued Sirius for misappropriation of their pre-1972 recordings. Mr. Allen’s expertise is in copyright-related matters, especially in the new media and entertainment industries. He served for over a decade as the Senior Vice President, Head of Business and Legal Affairs for Universal Music Publishing Group. When working at UMPG, he also headed the New Media Business Development Committee. The team set the course and implementation for cutting-edge internet and digital exploitation policies.
