Ropes & Gray is growing by 40,689 square feet, Commercial Observer reports. The firm will house the entire 3th floor of 1211 Avenue of the Americas, giving it over 300,000 square feet in Rockefeller Center.

Last year, the firm hired Richard Gallagher from Orrick.
Currently, the firm takes up around 280,000 square feet on floors 3, 32, and 35 through 39. That least term is from March 3, 2012 to February 28, 2019. The newest lease will end on April 30, 2027. Rent was set at $90 per square foot.
Nelson Mullins recently opened a New York office.
Moshe Sukenik and Mark Weiss of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented Ropes & Gray during the deal. Mitch Arkin, Josh Kuriloff, and Ethan Silverstein of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord.
