McDermott Will & Emery, an international law firm, has added two partners to their Employee Benefits, Compensation, Labor & Employment Practice Group in Dallas. Both partners were partners at K&L Gates. Erin Turley and Allison Wilkerson were both national known for their expertise in advising large publicly traded clients on areas such as ERISA, Internal Revenue Code, COBRA, HIPAA, and PPACA. They are also authorities for employee stock ownership plans.

The new Dallas office at McDermott has been enjoying rapid growth in the last few months. June saw over a dozen new lawyers with two teams of leading M&A and technology and outsourcing attorneys. The office has more than doubled in six months.
Both frequently speak on ESOP and other employee benefit issues as members of The ESOP Association. Turley is the current Chair of the American Bar Association’s Tax Section Subcommittee: ESOPs and has held the positon for three years. She received her LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center, her J.D. Texas Tech University School of Law, and her B.A. from the University of Dallas.
Wilkerson received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and her B.A. from Baylor University.
