The app contains links to phone numbers and contact information for Harvard University Health Resources, the Office of Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Hotline, and the Harvard University Police Department. The app also provides students with contact information for the school’s Title IX coordinators, an event schedule, and even a dining hall menu.

Harvard students sought to postpone their final exams in light of protests surrounding grand jury decisions in the Eric Garner and Michael Brown cases.

Robb London, a spokesman for the law school, said, “Over the summer, we shared a beta version of the app with a group of HLS students and received their input. The feedback was positive.” According to the Harvard Law website, the app is available through both the App Store and Google Play.

The app additionally contains a section called “Who to call if,” which has a list of situations for students.

The Department of Education found that the law school mismanaged sexual assault allegations

The app’s release comes not long after the school initiated its new process for responding to sexual harassment claims. This summer, the school implemented a new set of Title IX procedures that, for example, provide students involved in such cases with lawyers. The process at the law school is distinct from the rest of the school.

In addition, the law school will inform students about the new sexual harassment procedure through several information sessions, the first of which will be held on September 24.
