Summary: Paul Walker’s daughter has filed a lawsuit against Porsche.
This isn’t the first wrongful death lawsuit Porsche has been hit with. Porsche was first served with a wrongful death suit from the tragic car accident involving actor Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas in May 2014 .

The widow of Rodas filed the suit, claiming negligence and poor vehicle design. Porsche brushed aside her claims, releasing the following statement: “Roger Rodas’s death, and all other injuries or damage claimed, were the result of Roger Rodas’s own comparative fault.”
Now a second lawsuit has been filed on behalf of Meadow Walker, Paul Walker’s daughter. It claims the Porsche Rodas was driving was missing crucial safety parts. The Porsche Carrera GT lost control, crashing into a tree, erupting into flames and killing both men on November 30, 2013.

Meadow Walker’s complaint cites strict liability and negligence, seeking a survival claim to be determined by a jury trial. The Porsche, owned by Walker, “lacked safety features that are found on well-designed racing cars or even Porsche’s least expensive road cars – features that could have prevented the accident or, at a minimum, allowed Paul Walker to survive the crash.” The suit specifically points out the lack of an electronic stability control system.
The lawsuit also disagrees with the speed the car was traveling at. Police reported the speed at over 90 mph but Meadow’s lawsuit states the car was going a maximum of 71 mph.
