Tayback was a prosecutor for eight years until joining with Quinn Emanuel Urquhart and Sullivan. He is generally a business trial lawyer, taking on cases in patent, real estate, class actions, partnership disputes, professional malpractice, construction, fraud and contracts.

Tayback is the son of an actor and even acted himself for a short time before attending Harvard Law School. This has taught him how to know his way around publicity and stardom. He has also had previous appearances on “Nightline” to discuss legal issues. He has been recognized for the past ten years as one of Southern California’s “Super Lawyers” and has received numerous awards from his present and past employers.

Cosby is in the middle of a civil lawsuit brought by Lucy Huth, where Singer was representing him. Huth is just one woman that claims Cosby assaulted her at the Playboy Mansion in 1974. Another woman, Chloe Goins, claims her assault happened just a few years ago in 2008. There are now over 100 women that have claimed that Cosby sexually assaulted, raped, or drugged them, as well as defamed their reputations.
