Perez Hilton wants the world to know—don’t mess with him! According to Radar Online, the celeb blogger caught the attention of Angelina Jolie’s high powered legal team, and he was “livid” when they threatened to sue him for his blogging.
Not one to hide his grievances, Perez, 38, posted on Instagram a screenshot of his exchange with Jolie’s lawyers, Bert Fields and Priya Sapori. They allegedly asked him to change the content in an article covering Brad Pitt and Jolie’s divorce, but he made it clear in his Instagram response that he was not going to make any editorial changes.
“In other news, #AngelinaJolie’s lawyers at Greenberg Glusker have just threatened to sue me for my coverage of her split from #BradPitt,” Perez said.
Perez added that he was a huge fan of Angelina Jolie, 41, but judging from his scathing response to the Greenberg Glusker attorneys, that sentiment may not last.
Jolie filed for divorce in September, and she is seeking full custody of Brangelina’s six children—Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox.
In addition to Fields and Sapori, Jolie is represented by Pierce O’Donnell and powerhouse divorce attorney Laura Wasser. Wasser represented Jolie in her previous divorce from Billy Bob Thornton.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Pitt was intimidated by her legal team, which Hollywood Life referred to as a “dream team.”
