Dewey & LeBoeuf Will Represent Caster Semenya

Caster Semenya, the South African runner whose gender has been called to question, will be represented pro bono by the firm of Dewey & LeBoeuf. According the firm’s press release, “The plight of Ms. Semenya is a great matter of concern not just to South Africans, but to fair-minded people around the world.”

Dewey & LeBoeuf was formed in 2007 by the merger of Dewey Ballantine and LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae. The firm has 24 offices in 14 countries, including South Africa.
