Thomas M. Cooley Law School, the nation’s largest law school, has received approval from the American Bar Association to open a campus in Tampa, Florida. The expansion is necessary to reduce the number of transfers made from the Michigan-based college. Five percent of the school’s 3,900 students are from Florida, and many return there to graduate. Cooley expects to have 700 students by autumn, 2015.
