Abdul Jamar tried, not successfully, to disguise over 1,000 marijuana plants as Christmas Trees. There are a couple of problems with his plan though; the trees were too tall for would-be pines that were growing in the desert of California during the summer months, pine needles and marijuana needles do not look alike and Jamar has previously been arrested for marijuana.
A sheriff’s deputy discovered two 50-by-100 foot enclosures on Jamar’s property that housed 1,000 plants of marijuana. The very same deputy arrested Jamar in June for a marijuana operation, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. In June, his marijuana farm was located six miles from the farm that the deputy discovered last week. The current marijuana farm was found in Lancaster, California.
The marijuana found in the five acre farm is reportedly worth $4 million, according to authorities. Jamar, when the deputy arrived at the farm, said to him, “I guess I’m in trouble again.”
Jamar, depending on the judge, could be sentenced to a lengthy term in prison for his repeat offense. There is nothing out there that could say Jamar will not be a third-time offender of the marijuana laws in California, which surely will go against him in court. Jamar is officially being held in custody for suspicion of cultivation of marijuana.
