Hey everyone! Can’t believe it’s Thursday – I guess that’s what happens when you’re out of town for the long weekend. Time for another edition of this week’s Thursday Thoughts!
1. I know, I know. I put off my Arizona recap for one more day. I just couldn’t skip over Thursday Thoughts! It’s all written and ready to be published tomorrow morning!
2. Anyone ever eaten a scorpion? Me neither. No, thank you.
3. I’m not doing a link love post this week since I haven’t been on my computer much, but I did find these three links last week that I really liked:
My Dog Saved My Life: What It Means to Really Live and Love
Where You Should Travel, Based on What American Girl Doll You Had
17 Places You Have To Visit To Truly Understand
4. Um…
5. Now that I’ve blown through The Carrie Diaries, I’m re-watching Glee episodes. Someone help. I need a job.
6. I saw this cute notebook when I was in AZ and almost bought it but just couldn’t justify the $10. I love the front though – perfect notebook for thoughts and ideas!
7. I was in a local coffee shop yesterday and there were several quotes hanging on the wall in front of me. I absolutely loved this one: “Libraries are full of ghosts, books being the most haunted things of all” – Maya Panika
8. Sorry I haven’t replied to comments for over a week! I stopped at Tuesday’s post (I do them in order so I don’t miss any) and I just can’t seem to sit down and respond.
9. It’s 11pm and I can’t fall asleep. Too many things running through my mind, but I guess that’s the perfect time for Thursday Thoughts!
10. Have a great Thursday – remember, it’s up to you!
Do you have a favorite quote?
Have you ever eaten a bug?
What’s the funniest sign you’ve seen recently?
lol that sign is kind of funny… but mostly disgusting haha and no i’ve never eaten a bug – nor do i plan to!!!!!
Haha so disgusting, just the fact that they NEEDED to put up the sign!
oh yes.
Ive lived in many weird quirky places….eaten MANY BUGS 🙂
Haha I don’t think I’ve ever eaten a bug! Maybe a meal worm…
I remember those suckers from the 90’s except they had big fat worms in them. eek.
EWWWW haha
if you’re looking for another series to watch you should totally watch Nurse Jackie 😀 that’s like the only series I loved! HEHE
I’ve never heard of that one!
I think I’ve most definitely accidentally inhaled bugs while running but I’ve never eaten one intentionally, haha! I saw that sucker at a gas station awhile back and it grossed me out!
HAhahahaha accidental inhalation is always so scary!
I’m sure I have accidentally eaten a few bugs. I think I have heard that most food products are considered safe if they have small amounts of bug pieces in packaged foods. Gross! Hope you find a job soon, although with this nasty cold weather being able to stay in a nice warm apartment doesn’t sound too bad.
Haha yes, I guess they can’t keep bugs out of factories!
I could NOT sleep last night. I totally would have bought that notebook, but my current journal is almost done, so I’m keeping my eyes out for something that looks right.
Ah see I have too many notebooks already! Just couldn’t get another.
So apparently in some countries, flushing toilet paper isn’t a thing. When I taught a bunch of immigrant first graders, they ALL threw toilet paper on the floor.
I had a very similar sign in my classroom. Complete with visuals. Yes.
Oh dear. Oooooh dear.
Can’t wait to hear about Arizona! That notebook is so cute, and the quote is spot on for today!
Yes, right? Haha should have bought it!
My favorite quote is “Bloom where you’re planted.” I first heard it at Baccalaureate back in high school, and it has resonated with me ever since. Even if the situation isn’t perfect, I try to make the best of it and to grow where I am.
Oh that’s a great quote, Allison!
I absolutely love that quote about books. When I get my dream house with a massive library built into it, I’m going to get that framed on the wall ;).
Yesssss, ever since Beauty and the Beast I’ve wanted a huge library!
