This needs no introduction. And I’m late to bed.
1. Do any of you remember that Jergens tinted moisturizer that smelled awful? well I bought it again because it said in a magazine that it doesn’t smell and it even has a thing on the front of the bottle that says no odor.
guess what?
IT SMELLS
I’m suffocating
2. I need a hair cut. I have this weird habit of thinking my hair is completely fine for a few months and then BAM! I need a hair cut. It’s all I can think about. It bothers me. I just want to take some scissors to my hair and trim it because it’s too long and it’s driving me crazy.
3. Yes, my above two rants sound a bit manic. You’re welcome.
4. Another rant: every morning when I leave the gym, the same man is working at the front desk. And every morning as I’m walking out the door he says (EXACTLY): “Have a good one now, take it easy.” Every. Single. Day. At first it was nice, then it was slightly annoying, now it drives me crazy. You thought my manic rants were over? You thought wrong.
5. Oh – I’m on my way to Charleston!!! WOOHOOOO! No idea when I’ll manage to post again because I actually fly back early Monday morning and go straight to work, then I have my small group after work until late… So I won’t get any quality time with my computer (or my apartment, the grocery store, or my bed) until Tuesday evening.
6. I need more Molly time. I miss her.
7. I need to go to bed, so here’s another Molly to emphasize my point:
8. Have a good weekend!
How long is your hair?
Have you ever tried tinted moisturizer or self-tan?
I ignored cutting my hair for too long, and had to have four inches cut off. I’m still traumatized and that was October haha. I LOVE long hair, but currently it’s about medium length. When I get annoyed with it, I just trim it myself now haha.
I oddly love the smell of tinted moisturizer. No idea why. It’s gross. But I love it. Bare Minerals has a great one, and VS has one that I like too. I used to use Jergens every day.
I’m a bit manic too, it’s okay 😉 except mine is all the time lol. Bed time for me!
Ah I wish I could trim my hair myself – I’m pretty sure it would look like a mess if I tried!
Haha, I am the same way about my hair!! I was letting mine get a little longer and was totally fine with it for months. Then all of the sudden last week I couldn’t take it anymore and went and got about 4 inches chopped off.
And I am laughing about the gym desk guy. My dentist always says the EXACT same thing when he comes in the room, “Any teeth bothering you?” Me: “Nope!” Him: “Well that makes things a whole lot easier!”
So last time I went, I said his lines before he could get to them… 🙂
Ahhh I need to go get my haircut!!!!
I am the SAME way with my hair! I refuse to schedule an appointment to return when I’m actually at the salon because who knows their schedule 8-12 weeks out?! Also, the concierge in my building ALWAYS says the same thing to me every morning. At first it was nice but now it’s just awkward. GET CREATIVE peeps! Have so much fun on your trip!
Haha exactly – they need to mix up their greetings and goodbyes!
omg i am dying. hahahahahaha. #1 hahahahahaha oh i adore you holy moly you’re funny 🙂
Haha I’m glad you think so, I think I’m pretty funny…
omg i need a haircut too!
I STILL need a haircut! AH
ok, katie…. i am still laughing over this post hahahaha “snip snip snip” and the guy at the gym. omg
bahahahahahahaha I love that you find this so funny, I should write blog posts late at night more often
Ill cut yours if you cut mine? 🙂
I HAD SAME REALIZATION YESTERDAY AS WELL
but unlike you I be raggedy.
Haha I’ll be raggedy for way too long unless I can force myself to go get my haircut. For some reason I hate making an appointment!
haha yeah i was never a fan of that tinted moisturizer… and i’ve only been spray tanned once and didn’t think much of it!
I remember in college despite trying to tan in the actual sun all summer I was still pasty white, so I tried spray tanning! Sadly it smells weird and leaves color on white clothes… I think I’m destined to be pale.
In Japan, there are set greetings for almost every situation, it’s intended to be polite, but it always seems so unoriginal to me! I can be funny about my hair, I have to change hairdressers since I moved, and I’m going crazy trying to work out a salon to go to. Turns out I’m pretty high maintenance!
oh gosh, I never go to the same hair stylist twice. I guess I’ve never found anyone that I just loved.
I have the same hair issues, I’ll go a few weeks thinking, “its fine, but I should get a trim sometime” and then one day its awful and I call and book the soonest appointment I can (mine is on sunday).
haha my problem is I can never seem to get myself to go ahead a book an appointment. I have no idea why!
Good luck this weekend! I’m actually at a point with my hair where I can’t wait for it to get longer. I cut it short in the winter like I usually do, but then after like 2 weeks I get annoyed that it doesn’t all go in a ponytail when I run and I have to use a million clips and bobby pins. That Jergens lotion does smell terrible…I have a different brand now that is a foamy lotion and it doesn’t smell as bad.
Oh gosh, my hair would look horrible short! and I have no idea how people with shorter hair put it back – maybe a headband to keep it out of your face?
Molly is such a cutie!! And yes I do the exact same thing with my hair. It’s fine fine fine then bam need to cut it all off (and by that I mean like 2 inches ha).
I’m glad I’m not the only one!
I’m with you on the haircut thing, but it’s not because I want it shorter…it’s because I have terrible split ends. Have so much fun in Charleston!!!
I used to have SO many split ends when I straightened my hair in college!
Love the Amy P quote!
Have fun in Charleston….your rants make it sound like you need the break 😉
haha maybe just an attitude adjustment, or more sleep!
