PV.Body Review

Happy Friday!! I hope your week went by quickly and you have a great weekend planned! I’ve got studying planned… but I have a great Saturday afternoon get together with some other runners so I’m looking forward to that!

I am SO EXCITED for today’s post, I’ve been waiting for this! So you know how I put up that quick post about pv.body, so you could get their lower price before they raised them? (Which I hear is because they added LULULEMON!) Well, I finally got my own outfit in the mail!!!

I LOVE That they send it in a bright pink shiny envelope. This is my kind of company. If you’re unfamiliar with Pv.Body, it’s a company that provides you with high quality workout gear for a fraction of the price. You get a top and a bottom for only $49.95 (only $39.96 with my 20% discount!):

From their website

When you sign up you take a style quiz that asks you your workout clothes preferences, such as what is your main activity, what kind of bottoms do you like, do you like bold or neutral colors on top or bottom, etc.

I said that I’m a runner, I like bold tops, neutral bottoms and that I’m currently into longer pants because of the colder weather. Did they do a good job?

You know what I liked about this outfit? I would have NEVER picked it out myself. But did I love it? YES! The tanktop is bright and fitting, something I would have never bought but I think it is perfect for yoga or summer running. The pants are a liiiiittle tight around my waist and I considered sending them back, but after walking around in them they got more comfortable and I realized they would be PERFECT for winter running because they wouldn’t come down. They also have a little pocket for gel and keys!

Let’s also please note that I hadn’t moved all my shoes that I pulled out yet…

I even tried to get a picture of the back. This was the best I could do after several failed attempts. My poor shoulder got very tired.

  1. What a cute outfit!! Signing up for PV body is one of the first things I’m doing in 2013 (after my first two paychecks haha)…I’m all about comfort for running, but I’m trying to get more into cuter clothes…warmth is a big priority now too…it’s cold in Pittsburgh!

  2. I love the bright pink top! So fun and festive. I personally like crops and a loose fitted t-shirt when I workout at the gym. I am somewhat self conscious on tops being tight fitting. I love lululemon BUT ITS SO EXPENSIVE!

  3. Cute! I just got my package yesterday and the pieces are cute and SO comfortable. Such soft fabric! My outfit was similar to yours and isn’t something I would have picked out for myself, but I really like it. Such a cool program they have going on!

  4. Huh, that’s cool. I like the top a lot, the color especially! What brands were those? Were they both Lulu or something else? I do like Lulu, but I’m also a fan of Gap Fit. Lucy makes some cute stuff, but I’ve never bought from there. Prana is also one of my favs.

  5. i’m loving pv.body and i just got charged for my 2nd outfit so i’m hoping that means it comes soon! i love that top – i keep seeing people get it and i want that one so badly! i think i got those leggings too (but in bright blue) and i thought they were a little tight at first but i loved them when i started moving around!

  6. I like Lululemon and Nike. I know Lulu is overpriced, but it lasts forever and it doesn’t fade when you wash it a million times. I also think it is flattering, so I end up wearing it more than just working out…doubling up my wardrobe!

My “uniform” is black bottoms and a colorful top and sports bra. Tempos or running skirts for summer!

    • I’m not sure if/when it ends? I checked back through all my stuff and I don’t think it ends ever! You should give it a try, haha you LIVE in workout gear!

  7. Is it $39.95 every month or does it go to 49.95 after the first month? Do you know? I couldn’t find the answer on the site. Thanks!

  8. horrible customer service,,, I signed up in oct got my first package end of October, but so small didn’t fit 9 year old, sent back talked to customer service and got emailed would send out soon. Nov nothing, after more emails being told new customer service and Justin and other time Joshua said would be shipped and even asked what I wanted and would pack it, thought great finally,!, but nope, was emailed would get mid December, as of today I was told did not ship yet. I was told by email(so I have record) that I would finally get it after 3 months, so finally gave up. First thing I initially got was completely wrong size, poor quality( no way lul quality, not even target so would hate to have to wait another 3 months I’d I ever actually received anything after being lied to. Don’t waste money or time with this “service”
