To my mother, this phrase should be read “tee time” and refer to the time which she can tee off at the first tee. Hi Mom!

Today, however, it’s time for some tea!
I’ve been following Kath on Kath Eats Real Food since this summer, and over the past month or so, she’s been showing her morning cup of tea. She always had the most amusing flavors: roasted marshmallow, gingerbread, pumpkin pie, etc.
I thought to myself, I want to try one of these crazy flavors! She gets most of her teas from Adagio, so I headed over to their website to check it out. At first, it was horribly overwhelming. They have every kind of tea imaginable, then they have teas that have been “invented” by other people, and you can make up your own tea!
Let’s just say, it was a tea overload. I was overwhelmed and ended up not buying anything. A couple weeks later, Kath mentioned she had gotten the Holiday Sampler. Now that sounded more like it. I immediately clicked on the link and found what I wanted. Sometimes you just need a little help.
So I ordered the sampler, plus two other flavors that were recommended when I looked at the sampler, and waited in dire anticipation. And you know what? I didn’t wait for long! Yesterday, while I was at school, I got this lovely e-mail from Adagio!
How polite of them to let me know!!
When I FINALLY got home that evening, I ripped (okay, cut…) open the package immediately to find all the delicious teas I’d ordered!
They even threw in the extra Candy Cane tea!
All in all, I got:
Chocolate Chai
Candy Apple
Pumpkin Spice
Candy Cane (x2! hope I like it!)
Chestnut
Gingerbread
I was about to rip them open and test them out last night, until I realized they were all black teas… which meant that they all had caffeine in them! Probably not a good idea for nighttime…
So what was the first thing I did this morning?
Make some tea! No mom, still no tee time. Although there is a golf course and driving range that I run by…
Anyway, back on topic.
I decided to try out the gingerbread this morning.

Deliciousness.
I really liked the gingerbread! It wasn’t an overwhelming flavor, but the perfect taste of gingerbread and black tea. Two thumbs up!
Today is a “me” day. So I’m off to enjoy the day! Don’t bee too jealous… “me” day also involves plenty of schoolwork…
If you could invent a tea flavor, what would it be?
What’s the most interest tea (or coffee drink) flavor that you’ve ever tried?
Do you play golf?
I’ve been playing since I was little and was even on the golf team in high school!
Yummm that looks so good!!! I need to try more exotic tea flavors!
Check out Adagio, it was very inexpensive for sample flavors!
Those teas sound amazing, I’d love to try the candy cane, although I think it may taste a bit like a tea we get in the UK from tea pigs which is peppermint and licorice, yum!
Ooo peppermint and licorice sounds good!
those tea’s sound awesome! i’ve been enjoying gingerbread tea too recently, so delicious and festive
Haha I’m not sure I’ll be able to stop with the gingerbread tea after the holidays!
Oh wow, those flavors sound amazing!! Tea is delicious! Have a great weekend!
Thanks Annie, you too!
I’m currently hooked on Pumpkin Spice tea. I have a cup upon awakening every morning. My go-to tea the rest of the year is peppermint. Can’t get enought of it.
Ooo I haven’t tried the pumpkin spice yet!
I love tea this time of year! There’s an Argo tea close to my office that I’ve been frequenting! Aveda also has an amazing tea blend that I love…Which seems a little random, I know – but it’s awesome!
Oh my! Another aveda tea lover – their tea is THE BOMB! 🙂

Aveda like the body and hair products?? Lol I just got my hair cut there so that’s all I can think of!
Wow, invent a tea flavor? Blueberry Jasmine tea sounds pretty incredible! One of the more interesting teas I’ve tried in a while was Yogi Tea’s Cocoa Spice tea, and it was delicious!
I grew up with loads of golf instruction from my Dad and I occasionally hit the driving range with him, but I surely can’t play well at all, LOL!
Ooo Cocoa tea sounds good to me! Haha and I play golf, but I’m not especially good at it!
I LOVE the Celesital Seasoning’s Holiday Tea Flavors – my favorite is the Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride. YUMM-O!
I haven’t ever had tea from Adagio but I may just have to check the site out! Thanks girl 🙂
I’ve seen the Sugar Cookie tea on blogs and I’m dying to try it! I’m going to search it out when I’m home for Thanksgiving!
It’s AMAZING! I found it at supertarget 🙂 It’s less than $3 a box. I may have bought 6… 😉
My husband and I just started talking about Christmas shopping and we added tea for his mom to the list. Now I know where to order it from! Thanks for the recommendation 🙂
No problem! I’m a big fan of them, and it came pretty quickly after ordering!
Wow, can I come over and sip tea with you? You’ve got quite an amazing sampler there! I’m going to go check out Adagio’s selection right now. 🙂
I love all of the Bigelow holiday teas, especially Eggnog’n, Gingersnappish, White Chocolate Obsession and Pumpkin Spice!
Oooo White Chocolate Obsession sounds good!
