Paul Ceglia, Who Allegedly Sued Facebook Falsely, Has Disappeared

Man who sued Facebook is missing

Summary: Paul Ceglia, who attempted to sue for 50 percent of Facebook, is now missing.

Paul Ceglia had the audacity to sue Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, claiming he is owed 50 percent of the multibillion dollar pie. Instead, he’s been charged with forging the contract he claims to have had with Zuckerberg. Now he’s had the temerity to disappear entirely.

“I don’t know where he is,” said Ceglia’s attorney, Robert Fogg. “I haven’t a clue.”

His absence was noticed when U.S. Marshals dropped into his home in Wellsville, New York, and found his electronic tracking ankle bracelet, but not him.

“As alleged, by marching into federal court for a quick payday based on blatant forger, Paul Ceglia has brought himself another day in federal court for attempting a multi-billion dollar fraud against Facebook and its CEO,” said Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara, upon Ceglia’s arrest.

Allegedly, Ceglia’s entire case against Zuckerberg was based on a forged contract and a bunch of forged emails.

“He has always been concerned about if he’d get a fair trial,” noted Fogg. Apparently he decided he wasn’t going to get a “fair” trial, considering he up and went. He had previously attempted to get the charges against him dropped, but failed.
