Greek-based Studio NL has unveiled its new nap desk and we are officially in love.
The desk is made of metal, wood, and plush white leather. When you’re working, it looks like this:

According to the architects, “The main concept was to comment on the fact that many times our lives are ‘shrinking’ in order to fit into the confined space of our office.”
Personally we think the desk opens up all sorts of possibilities. (And no, we don’t just mean office trysts; get your minds out of the gutter). Who hasn’t wanted a nap after pulling an office all-nighter? Not to mention those rough mornings after a good recruiting party. Also, that nook looks like a great place to hide from the assigning partner.
Heck – if you’re at a large firm in Manhattan, you’re probably spending a lot of time at the office already. Why pay $3700/month for a 1-bedroom in Midtown when you could live under your desk for free? You’ll have the easiest commute in the city.
