Abbie Dunn, former partner of MacCorkle Lavender & Sweeney, PLLC joined the Charleston office of Bailey & Wyant as Of Counsel. Prior to joining Bailey & Wyant, he was working at Allen, Koper & Associates after his 5-year stint as a partner in MacCorkle.
A graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law, Dunn has experience of working at the Office of the West Virginia Attorney General and of working as an Administrative Law Judge for the West Virginia State Education and Employees Grievance Board.
He began private practice in 1996, and is licensed to practice in state court and before the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern districts of West Virginia.
In his new job as Of Counsel at Bailey & Wyant, Dunn will be handling general civil litigation and insurance defense. He would also be focusing on medical malpractice, defense of predatory claims, consumer protection cases, product liability, deliberate intent claims, and coverage and bad faith.
