Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz announced yesterday the formation of a gaming industry group. Dan McDaniel, former president of the International Association of Gaming Advisors, will lead the group while Will Somerville will serve as the vice chair. The group will represent gaming manufacturers as advisers and litigation counsel in state and federal courts. Additionally they will represent major operators of electronic gaming facilities in court and in negotiations with regulatory officials.
Founded in 1888, Baker Donelson is a Memphis based firm with 550 plus lawyers and 17 offices throughout the United States. The firm has broad based litigation and lobbying practices along with practices in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, labor and employment, real estate, bankruptcy, health law, intellectual property and tax law.
