Hey everyone! Friday is a great day, so this week I thought I’d celebrate by sharing some of my favorite blog posts that I’ve read recently. I already mentioned two during my Thursday Thoughts yesterday, but there are so many more to share!
When it comes to blogging, I love the great friends that I make and all the support and comments from my readers. I also looooove reading other blogs, that’s how I got started in the first place! Although my reader is jam packed, I still love finding new blogs that I feel like I can connect to, which is why I want to link up to some of my favorites today, so maybe YOU can find a new blog to read!
My first form of blog love? I am participating in Meg’s High Five Friday this week! She is the sweetest most optimistic girl, I was so lucky to meet her at Healthy Living Summit! Check out her High Five Friday post to see other great achievements this week!
- A look at how Lindsay’s eating habits have changed over her life. Really made me think of how different I am even every 6 months or so!
- These black bean and pumpkin enchiladas Chelsey posted about make me drool… Like seriously.

- I basically want to transplant myself into Elise’s kitchen and eat all of her food. And since she follows FODMAPS I know my stomach will handle it well. Like the crockpot lentils I made!
- Tina posted about some great travel food ideas. These are all things that would be so helpful for me when it comes to packing for school, and I never thought of!

- With my marathon coming up, Caitlin’s post on figuring out your paceduring a race was really helpful!
- This post by another Tina was the perfect way to start my day, and remember how awesome I am.
- Kelsey made me die of laughter on her 25th Birthday post. Please go read her blog. She’s hilarious. P.S. Ryan is MINE.
- I loved Janae’s post about making sure to have runs that are just about running, and remembering why you love it so much. It’s easy to get caught up in goals, so it’s important to just run for FUN!
Any blog posts you loved from this week?
Did you read any of these?
haha i’ve read all of those! i really want to make those pumpkin enchiladas – i think they might make it onto my meal plan for the week.
I know! I might make them for next week or the week after!
What a great idea — I love this roundup 🙂 Those pumpkin enchiladas look incredible, and I love all body/health transformation posts. Have a great weekend 🙂
I know, I want to force Chelsey to make them for me! Haha. You have a great weekend too, Katy!
BABYYYYYY you make me cryyyyyyy! ahhhh I love you. You still have my cell # right!? we shall text throughout the day because I MISS YOU! Thanks for the shout out love and all of these links are FAB
I miss you too! I hope school is going well!
Sooooo… I definitely read ALL of these and thoroughly agree with your picks!! haha. They were my faves from the week too! Enjoy your weekend, Katie!! 🙂
Have a great weekend Chelsie! And good luck on your race!
You hit so many of my favorite bloggers (and topics) in this post!
1. I am dying- but obvi my photo-shop skills are better than yours since you actually take the time to make your heads a circle and I just cut and paste a square head that clearly means I’m winning.
2. RY is mine.
3. I love you forever and ever.
I think we’re going to have to have a ryan showdown. Perhaps a duel? I’ll bring my wand.
I read most of those! I’m definitely keeping Chelsey’s enchiladas in mind, they look so good.
Mmm those black bean enchiladas look so good! Have a good weekend
You too, Christina!
I see you’ve been taking Photoshop lessons from Kelsey. I’m going to have to get myself enrolled in one of those — I aspire to be as bomb as putting my head on other bodies as both of you are some day 🙂
I love linky posts like this. I totally should’ve read the healthy travel eats post yesterday, though. I’m going to be on the road (well, rails, technically) tonight and had to not only pack my lunch but my dinner as well, which means I’m basically eating the same meal twice. Blahhhh. Good to keep in mind for next time, though!
have a good trip! and my bomb photoshop skillz come from years and years of using microsoft Paint…
I’ll try to teach you my ways but it really comes down to being born with this gift.
You reminded me that I still need to try lentils! My sister keeps raving about them. It needs to happen!
I love them!!! They sell them at Trader Joe’s now! Is there a TJs in Columbia?
Aaw, thanks for this post.I recognise a few of these blogs, will be great to explore them for running motivation 🙂
Pumpkin enchiladas?! i’d love ’em, but the husband would not. Hmmmmm.
Love the love!
Haha I think Chelsey made different ones for her husband!
Hahah the Ryan Gosling pic made me laugh. I just found out he’s in Austin (my city) right now shooting a movie!
STALK HIM!!!! haha
Thanks for the link-up! I could definitely use some travel food idea tips, so I’ll be checking out that post.
You can have Ryan Gosling if I can steal Ryan Reynolds from Blake Lively. I figure he’s already been divorced once, so I still have a chance. Ha!
Janae’s adventures at Costco (in Hungry Runner Girl) always crack me up. Love the High 5 Friday posts! What a fun way to spread some blogger love!
