Lauren Evans DeJong is joining the Chicago law firm Stahl Cowen Crowley Addis, LLC. Her work will focus on estate planning, estate and trust administration, tax and business planning, and asset protection.
DeJong works with clients and their families in relation to transferring and preserving wealth, planning for disability, business succession, health care coverage, and special needs, including preparing trusts, wills, powers of attorney, marital property agreements, disability documents, gift, estate, and fiduciary tax returns, and charitable gifting vehicles. She will also work with clients for trust, probate, guardianship, and tax matters by representing them before administrative agencies and appropriate courts.
She earned her B.A. from Hope College, a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law, and a LL.M. in Taxation from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
