Curt Hebert Joins Law Firm of Brunini Grantham Grower & Hewes PLLC

The former chair of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and former Executive Vice President for Entergy Corporation, Curt Hebert, Jr., is joining the law firm of Brunini , Grantham, Grower & Hewes, PLLC, according to a press release.

“Curt’s experience as a lawyer, state legislator, state utility regulator, federal regulator, and energy executive is unique in the industry. He has provided leadership at the local, state and national levels, both in the public and private sectors, and we are excited for our firm and our clients that Curt will be working with us,” said Granville Tate, Jr., the chairman of Brunini.

Recently, Hebert worked as the chief executive officer of Lexicon Strategy Group. The company operated in Washington, D.C., Mississippi and Louisiana. Hebert also is a visiting scholar in Washington with the Bipartisan Policy Center. He serves as the co-chair of the Energy Reliability Task Force. Hebert served as a member of the House of Representatives for Mississippi from 1987 to 2002. He also worked as the Chairman and Commissioner of the Mississippi Public Service Commission from 1992 to 1997. Heber was a presidential appointee to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission from 1997 to 2001 and worked at Entergy Corporation from 2001 to 2010.

“Having grown up on the Gulf Coast and worked in the energy field for most of my career, I know of Brunini’s commitment to excellence, and its unwavering integrity. I’m delighted to be a part of the Brunini team,” Hebert said of his new position with the firm.
