Graduation Weekend.

Hey everyone! Sooooo I. Am. Exhausted. What does this mean? 4:45am wake up + 4 hours of Bar prep + volunteering + Dr. apt = nice photo-filled recap post for you all of my graduation weekend. YAY! Yes, I’m slightly incoherent. I will be going to bed when I finish this up… at 8:45 pm.

Aaaaanyway, as I mentioned yesterday, I had a GREAT graduation weekend! It started out with the most amazing Last Bash party with my law school classmates (and many other people I did not recognize…).

I got to spend some quality time with some great people and the gummies were a total success.

And of course glow sticks were involved. Lots and lots of glow sticks.

Yep. We’re a classy bunch.

Saturday I went on a brewery tour with my family:

And then we went out to dinner at Smith & Wollensky, a steakhouse right on the river. Sorry, no pictures of that one…

Saturday morning I did a little “Cage-ing” with Lindsay, Erin and Emily. We decided to prank Kelsey while she was out of town and cover her kitchen with Nic Cage…

We may have put a few “hidden gems” in other places for her to find as well…

It was fantastic. Sadly I cannot reveal them all.

Then it was off to graduation!

After the champagne reception, we had dinner at Weber Grill, suggested by Kelsey! My family loved it, good job, Kelsey!

And there you have it! A very long but fun weekend with friends and family, definitely one I will never forget!

  1. I found Waldo! 😛

Love the Nic Cage prank. It’s so funny!

I’ve never been to a brewery tour, but it sounds like it’d be a ton of fun and really interesting. I love steakhouses though. High-quality steak is my faaavorite.

  2. Congrats! I see from your latest post bar study is in full swing. Just be sure to do those practice essays even when you don’t feel “ready.” Best practice you can get to write, write, write. Good luck!

  3. Looks like you had a great weekend! I love going on Brewery and Winery tours, especially when you are visiting some place new.

Pranks are the best. Freshman year in college a group of us girls would hide a pack of bologna (dont ask why)in a group of guys dorm rooms. The war went back and forth for quite some time!

    • It was great! We ate the gummy bears, never sampled the left over vodka. The life savers turned out best though – they had more of their flavor after the soaking and held up a little better.

  4. Ah! Did you go to Half Acre? Sadly, I bet you didn’t get to drink anything. Bummer! Looks like the rest of your weekend was a blast, though. And thank you for taking time out of your graduation weekend for the Nic Cage fest 🙂

  5. What an amazing weekend it must have been! Congratulations, Katie! You can be so very proud of yourself.
Honestly, you’d have scared me like crazy had you pulled that prank on me. I can’t stand Nicholas Cage at all and would have likely run screaming from my apartment :D.
