Happy Valentines Day everyone!
For the first time since I was in 5th grade (the last year we were all required to give one another valentines in our adorably decorated shoeboxes) I’m actually excited about Valentine’s Day!

Haha – you all thought I was going to say I have a boyfriend! Didn’t you? You know you did.

Maddie and I have been school acquaintances for a long time, friends for a solid 15 years or so, and BFFS since college. Apparently we needed time apart to grow closer. Or just more wine.
Too much? Haha, had trouble narrowing down pictures… Anyway, she is at the airport right now and I cannot wait to see her!
So for today’s Valentines day, whether you’ve got big plans or you’re just trying to forget it’s all happening, be thankful for all the people you have in your life, including yourself!

My first Valentine’s Day with a boyfriend I was so excited to do something special. But I ended up getting sick and we couldn’t get together for Valentine’s. I was pretty bummed out about it. Since then I either haven’t done anyrhing special if I was in a relationship, or I’ve been single on Valentine’s. One of thes days things are going to work out right.

I hated doing that in school! We were all required to give EVERYONE a card and if you did not then you were not allowed to receive any. It was a huge production and we all put the shoe boxes out on the desks and walked around delivering the cards. It would be a competition to see who had the best card/candy to give out. So not fun in my eyes!
Omg I LOVED IT! Haha I mostly loved decorating my box! I probably pushed all the competition parts of it in the back of my memory and forgot about that.
Great attitude! I had my leaving party at work, so I had a really nice evening, eating pizza and chatting. It was a pretty good way to spend the evening, it’s what you make of it, right? Have fun with Maddie!

Haha. Love that idea! My friend and I were supposed to spend today together but it didn’t work out…. Hopefully we’ll get a chance soon! I hope you had fun on your Galentine’s Day 🙂
