Hey everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend! I’m Molly-sitting so my weekend involved some book club with my friends, kickball, Pride Parade and a LOT of this face:
Disclaimer: I was sent a Kona Kase box to review, but, as always, all opinions are entirely my own!
A couple weeks ago I got the opportunity to review a Kona Kase through my affiliation with FitFluential, and since I’ve tried many different subscription box services I thought it would be fun to give Kona Kase a try! My box arrived last week and I’ve already dug right into it!
If you’re new to the idea of a subscription box service, here’s how it works:
For Kona Kase, you pay $15 a month with free shipping, you get this box full of treats, and you can discounts as well. You can cancel your subscription at any time.
I was pretty excited when I got my box, everything in there looked like something I could use!
I received:
- KIND Bar
- 18 Rabbits Granola Bar
- Clif Shot
- HalfPops Popcorn
- OneBar (mango fruit bar)
- Mamma Chia Squeeze Pack
- Doctor Will Bar
- Osmo Nutrition Active Hydration
I immediately broke open the HalfPops, which you saw on my WIAW post last week!
I already know I love the KIND Bar, and my cousin said the 18 Rabbits bars are great, so I’m excited to try that. One thing I loved about this box is that I knew I’d actually use everything in it, especially since I tend to bring bars along to class quite often. I also like that they made it more athlete-oriented with the Clif Gel Shot, although I can see that being a throw-away item for anyone who doesn’t run distances.
I was very pleased with my Kona Kase experience, so if you’re looking to try out a subscription box, definitely give them a try!
Have you ever tried a subscription box service?
What’s your favorite packaged snack or snack bar?
I love love love love love ANY BOX SERVICE far too much.
Haha me too!
I like the idea of the snack box service, it seems like a fun way to try new products. I recently tried and am loving quest bars, I also really like kind bars. It looks like you had a great weekend with that adorable puppy face.
It’s definitely a great way to try new products!
I REALLY want to try those Halfpops! They sound super tasty :).
Ah so good!
This is not at all related to this post, but I saw this on BuzzFeed this morning and thought you needed to, too!

I’m not a Nicolas Cage fan by any means, but I know you and your friends like to use him to bring humor into your lives!
Haha fantastic! I’ll pass it along!
We were walking down Michigan after the Pride Parade and there were TONS of people. It looks like it was a blast – but we were at a wedding and weren’t able to join in on all the excitement. Yay for Molly sitting!
even down on Michigan? Crazy, the parade was way up north!
I thought the Kona Kase was pretty legit too, when I got it. I really liked the protein bar in mine!
Yea, there were some great bars!
What a neat concept! I have never tried a subscription box service but would consider in times I’m super busy. My favorite packaged snack is a tie between kind bars and luna bars. Could eat those things by the dozen.
I used to love luna bars, so good!
Subscription box services are such a cool idea. I really have to do some research and pick one to try out. I appreciate the reviews so I can make up my mind–this one looks great, thanks!
I like that most you can just try once rather than having to buy months of a subscription, makes it easy to test out!
