Christopher Cox, the former Bush administration SEC head, joins Bingham McCutchen as a partner in Orange County, California. He will handle corporate law, mergers & acquisitions and securities, and will be a principal at the Bingham Consulting Group. His JD is from Harvard Law School.

Lisa Laukitis joins Jones Day from Kirkland & Ellis as a partner in the firm’s business restructuring and reorganization practice in New York. At Kirkland, she was a partner in the firm’s restructuring group. Her JD is from the University of Dayton School of Law.

Steven Mones joins Wilmington, Delaware-based personal injury firm Freibott Law. With 22 years experience, Mones has tried cases in virtually every Delaware court, and is admitted to the bar in both Delaware and Virginia.
