Hey everyone! IT’S FRIDAY!!!!
Did you know? Well now you do. I’m really excited for this weekend because we have our Chicago Blogger BOOKCLUB! (aka winos/foodies anonymous). It’s been eight weeks since our last one, so I’m ready to see everyone!
For those of you sitting in an office, unable to focus and dying for the clock to hit 5, I thought a good Link Love post would be perfect to keep your mind occupied! Or you could work… but whatever.

Have a great weekend!
What’s the best thing you read this week?
What are you up to this weekend?
Have you ever been in a book club?
thanks so so much for including me!
and I need me an OAKLAND book club—I left mine in austin 🙂
You are so welcome! And definitely find a new book club, I know meetup.com can be helpful!
Not a tempeh fan? Totally checking out the link!
I can’t eat tempeh because I’m soy intolerant. Wish I could!
Ah that must be a hard one! They put it in so many things these days!
ahhhh i wish i were going to be around at all instead of super busy with family wedding things because i have serious envy of your chicago bloggers book club. i’ll be thinking of you guys!
Awww wish you could come!!!
Thank you for linking to my post :). We always had family dinners too…I remember some nights just wanting to eat alone on the couch, but I’m more appreciative of it now!
So appreciative now, but definitely remember a few temper tantrums…
Thanks for the share Girl!
Have an amazing weekend!
Thanks, you too Ashley!
So. excited. for. book. club.
CANNOT CONTROL MY EXCITEMENT
Oooh, fun! Some good stuff to read!
Such good stuff, I highly recommend the last video… haha
Wino/foodies anonymous…haha I love that. That’s my kind of book club.
I’m headed out for a quick trip to Philly this weekend. I can’t wait!
Oh fun, have a good trip!!
Ooh, I would love to be in a book club. I’m sure I can find one around SF, but the first step is looking into it, eh? I just got the Song of Fire and Ice series, and I’m terrified to start it because I know it’ll suck me in and take weeks to finish.
Try meetup.com, I actually went to a bookclub when I first moved here through that site!
The In-Between by Jeff Goins. A definite must read. Especially during this busy fall season!
Sounds interesting!
Book club! FUN!!
So fun!
I just cliked open SO many of those links! Broswer explosion! Thanks for compiling all this 🙂 I’m in a book club too and I just love it. It’s the best way to read books – together.
I’m glad you liked the links!
I was in a book club in high school. We read a lot of Agatha Christie. Lol. Actually, I’ve always wanted to join one of Julie @ PBFingers’ book clubs but I don’t think she’s doing them anymore 🙁
What book did you read?
Yea, I don’t think she’s been doing it recently, although she might pick it up soon! We read Let’s Pretend This Never Happened by the Bloggess
I’ve never been in a book club before but maybe if I joined one, I’d actually read more! I used to love to read, but nowadays it’s a struggle to keep my attention on it. I’ve been “attempting” to read The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown for about a month now. I’ve only made it a few chapters, and have actually gotten pretty emotional over a couple of pages, but I can tell it’s going to be a good read for me…now if I can just stay focussed!
The lip-syncing videos are hilarious! I’d never seen them before! I LOVE Joseph Gordon-Levitt!
I agree – I have a hard time sitting down to read right now! I think I just need to be more conscious about it, like setting aside a half hour every evening to read.
Thanks so much for including a link to my workout!
Right now I’m reading “Where We Belong” by Emily Giffin, just for fun 🙂
My pleasure, you deserve it!
Hooray for Book Clubs!
This post…can I just say that I love link love posts? I like it when other people share the awesome stuff that they found on the internet 🙂
PS I miss your face – we need to do a Google hangout soon to catch up!
I LOVE link love posts too, that’s why I wanted to start it! And sure we can do a google hangout, haha I’ve never done one!
So bummed I couldn’t make book club this week… Saturday’s are hard to get off work. Hopefully next time!
I LOVE that lipsync game! My siblings and I love doing stuff like that.
Besides working this weekend I did get to run a 5k in the Rosehill Cemetery which was fun!
I hope you can make it next time – I’m hosting!!!
Just moved to Chicago! Would love to join the book club!
