I know everyone is coming out with Holiday Wish Lists for the year, but instead of sharing some ideas that I thought people would like, I thought I would share with you exactly what I put on my Christmas list this year!
I always ask for a few smaller items, something special (see #6) and then add on a list of books because, let’s face it, I love books. I also included a list of stocking stuffers which I didn’t actually ask for, but things that I would love.
Enjoy!
Christmas List:
1. Smartwool PHD Heavy Outdoor Socks
2. Stay A Little While Infinity Neck Warmer, Taupe from Conversation Pieces
3. Penny For Your Thoughts Necklace from Conversation Pieces
4. JCrew Factory Clare Cardigan
5. Under Armour Women’s Craze Graphic Winter Headband
6. Michael Kors Watch
Books:
1. My Story by Elizabeth Smart
3. Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walters
4. The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult
Stocking Stuffers:
2. Quest Bars
What’s on your list this year?
Good stuff! I’ve got a lot of running-type stuff on my list…reflective gear, Knuckle Lights, etc. Also a few blu rays and books and stuff for hiking (day packs, socks, etc). I hope Santa is good to you! 🙂
Reflective gear is a great idea!
i need more infinity scarves!!
Everyone does! Haha. I don’t have one at all so I wanted to see how I like them!
I asked for another infiniti scarf too (and hinted that I wouldn’t mind a rose gold watch…)! I actually just painted my friend’s living room and she bought me quest bars as a thank you!
My big (and for the most part, only) request was the Ninja Kitchen System! I can’t stand not having a food processor. I likely won’t leave my kitchen for days after Christmas. At least my blog will get a whole bunch more recipes! 🙂
Oh wow – that would be a great gift! I hope you get your Ninja!
You’re such a grown up! A watch would never make it to my list, but it is super cute. I love Jodi Picoult, and that book looks awesome just from the cover (which I totally judge books by). Also, you can never go wrong with Starbucks or Whole Foods!
Haha I know, right? I feel like such a grown up asking for it, but I realized I really need a watch. Once I actually get a job I’m sure there will be situations where I shouldn’t be whipping out my phone to check the time!
What a good list! I really like the Infiniti scarf as well as the Starbucks and whole foods gift cards! 🙂
Can’t go wrong with those gift cards!
I asked for the same Michael Kors watch! Let’s hope we both get it:)
Yes! Although I already know I got mine… haha I bought it myself on black Friday with my little brother’s macy’s discount. We got like 40% off! Although the one I wanted is slightly different from the one in the picture, the one I got is discontinued so it’s not online anymore.
Great list! These are all things that I would actually want to get for Christmas. So many of the lists I see are either filled with all expensive stuff (sure, it’s okay to dream, but I want some practical ideas too!), or just things that I think are so impractical and I would never use.
For gift cards I only really like getting Barnes and Noble ones. Those books are pretty expensive and the only time I “splurge” there is when I already have a card.
For books I’m asking for a few like some cookbooks/health books, Allegiant, and a few others.
I already know what I’m getting clothes-wise because I had to pick them out on cyber Monday. My mom would have NO clue what size I wear or what I would even like. So while I love being surprised and hate knowing what I’m going to get, picking out my own clothes for presents is the most efficient way to go.
That Elizabeth Smart book sounds so inspiring. I may have to put that on my list now too! Oh, and I’ve been considering asking for Hyperbole and a Half’s book for Christmas too. I was looking at the reviews and her blog the other day. Hilarious.
Exactly, I always ask for one “reach” item and then a bunch of smaller practical ones that I might actually get! Yea, and clothes I picked out and sent my mom exact sizes and told her if she’s getting them, get them that day for the sale!
Looks like a good list to me! Mine includes some kitchen gadgets (stick blender, for one thing), books, and gift cards for workout clothes. Good call adding Quest bars to your list – those things are pricey!
Ah I need an immersion blender! Well I don’t really need one at all… but I’ve wanted one.
Looks like a great list! I’ve been loving infinity scarves lately. They add so much to a simple outfit and are nice and cozy!
I don’t have one so I’m dying to try them out!
That sounds like such a great list–a good mix of everything!
I want some gift cards too–and a scarf would be nice! Otherwise, I don’t need much, really. I kind of want some more fitness apparel though….can never have too much of that 😉
Haha for someone who teaches as much as you, you can never have too much fitness gear!
Essie always has pretty colors.
Yes, it’s my favorite brand!
I LOVE that infinity neck warmer. I NEED that in my life! 😉
me too!!! I’ve been dying to get an infinity scarf!
We have a lot of the same things on our list!! PS the story teller is an amazing book!! Love all of Jodi Picoult’s books. I asked for Trader Joes and Starbucks too! and new Mizuno running shoes thanks to your recommendation!! I also asked for books- Divergent and Intiutive Eating. Great list! Hope you get everything!
I LOVE Jodi Picoult! I’ve read all but two of her books! I hope you get Divergent, it’s one of my favorites!
I’d love more scarves and sweaters!
yes – perfect for winter!
Great list! My family just buy one present each so I’m getting a Garmin! It actually already arrived and I’m trying to wait until 25th to use it, but might cave for our Ho Ho Ho marathon on Sunday!
A Ho Ho Ho Marathon?!?! Um yea I’d use it for a marathon! break it out!
nice new theme! I really want to read beautiful ruins as well!
