Reportedly included in that group are several lawyers from DLA Piper, though the firm would not reveal names of the Tampa lawyers because of contractual obligations.
According to the Tampa Business Journal, Quarles & Brady had been recruiting lawyers in the Tampa area for the past several weeks.
“This is a great opportunity for our law firm to not only expand our Florida presence but augment our practice groups and add to the breath and balance of our services,” said John W. Daniels Jr., chairman, in a statement.
Quarles & Brady has nearly 450 attorneys. In addition to the two Florida offices, the firm also has a presence in Chicago, Madison, Phoenix and Tucson.
