Good morning everyone! Another round of Thursday Thoughts before the weekend, and don’t worry, not a single one is about the marathon! Haha.
1. I opened my spam folder on my blog email for the first time ever. The number of emails that began with “Dear Friend” was amazing. I didn’t know I had so many friends! haha
2. I need to make a trip to Forever 21 (birthday present to myself?!). Looking online has gotten dangerous…
3. I found this article with 50 ways to improve your blog. It was overwhelming! I’ll have to go through them when I get a chance!
4. I discovered this site called Wanelo (Want Need Love). But I don’t get it, how are thigns so inexpensive!? Am I missing something!?!? Too good to be true.
5. I love going on long walks outside. I hope it doesn’t get too cold too soon, I’m loving the weather! (pin found thanks to Annette!)
6. Speaking of weather, I used to check the weather every single day for over a month to try and guess marathon day weather. Now I couldn’t care less. Perhaps I should start checking again to make sure I don’t walk outside into rain…
7. I tried to be a good student yesterday by getting to school early and doing my reading. When I got there I realized I hadn’t left my book in my locker like I thought I had… in other words I had nothing to read. #epicfail
8. I told Molly “do something cute!” This was her response. Take it how you wish.
9. I went to a juice bar the other day and got a veggie juice. It was… okay? Lol nothing delicious but not awful either. I don’t know if I’ll get into juicing anytime soon though.
10. A final thought for your day:
What are some of your thoughts today?!
Thursday thought: I just accepted an overtime shift because I really, really want to go shopping at lululemon … I hope that doesn’t make me shallow! I need (cute!) warmer winter running clothes!!
lol I dont know how that would make you shallow? Just hard working
That’s funny about the weather. Everyone at my office asks me what the weather forecast is… Someone asked yesterday and since I haven’t been running outside or freaking out about a marathon, I had no idea!!!
Haha I know! It’s not at the top of my list anymore!
I need to go to Forever21 too! I walk past the State Street location every day, and I want to spend money EVERY day:)
haha it’s dangerous!
I love both of those quotes, especially the one about getting outside. I may have to use it over at my blog as I prepare for my hike this weekend! Thanks, Katie!
Have a great hike!
I love your thursday thoughts post. I have actually never had a juice blend before, I have always wanted to try though. No clue if my stomach could take that much fiber though, haha. Ps. molly nailed it!
Haha I’ll let Molly know! A model in the making.
You have a locker?! That’s so nice. I didn’t think they had lockers in college, let alone grad school! And that is SUCH a cute photo of Molly!
lol yes, since most people commute and the whole school is in one building, it helps to have somewhere to keep your coat, books, etc. Didn’t have one in college though!
I desperately need to go clothes shopping! My fall wardrobe is a little sad.
And definitely going to remember that 50 tools link, I could use the help!
Haha I haven’t done much shopping since college when I had a job!
I’ve still got one more race this season, so I’m still checking the weather like it’s my job (plus I do a decent amount of outdoor walking in my commute, so it’s helpful to know what to wear so I’m not freezing/melting), and I really wish fall would just get its crap together. Either be in the 50s or be in the 60s and stick with it, man. This whole 65 one day, 55 the next, 75 the next thing is driving me bonkers. I’m just so hard to please :p
Lol I love the changing weather, well I prefer the 65-75 and deal with the 55 days….
honestly i have no thoughts besides i can’t wait to try to go for a run today. my legs have been itching for some activity. i think i’m going to realize about .1 miles in that a walk would be a better idea, but old hal says to try 2 miles so try 2 miles i will 🙂
can’t wait to hear how it goes!
I check the weather all the time I’m crazy about it! I think it makes sense though when you live on the thirteenth floor of an apartment building, if I got outside and realized I wasn’t dressed appropriately it would literally take me 10 minutes to go back up and come back down.
Hmm my thoughts are somewhere along the lines of why isn’t it Friday yet? Today totally feels like a Friday, it’s torture!
Lol Friday will be here soon!
Hah. Love the pic of Molly!
And yes, that is quite the #epicfail, but it made me laugh?! 🙂
Thursday thought for me: sleeping in does WONDERS. I need to stop doing that though…my mornings are so rushed & I dont do my hair anymore. hah
Hahaha it made me laugh too!
I’m obsessive about checking the weather! I like to always be prepared, especially if rain is in the forecast!
I feel the same way about juices. They’re okay, but I prefer to chew my food rather than drink it.
My Thursday thought: I can’t wait until I’m done my midterm this evening!
exactly – why drink my food when I can eat it! And good luck on your midterm!!!
i get emails (multiple) every day starting with “dear elsie”…ummm…if you want to make me an offer for blog stuff start by getting my name right. it goes straight to the spam folder. no patience 🙂
go shopping!! im unable to and i need to live vicariously through someone.
bahahahaha, Elsie?! They need to work on their reading skills.
i’m with you on juices – i had a veggie juice awhile back and didn’t like it too much – definitely not worth the $5 i paid for it! i’ll stick to eating solid veggies haha 🙂
Haha yea, I like to eat them!
Aww Molly’s always cute! Love that purple dress from Forever!
Haha I knew you’d like the Molly pic!
I’m not a huge fan of veggie juice, but it’s growing on me. I have a juicer at home so it’s a nice way to use up veggies that are starting to go past their prime, and of course sneak in a ton of veggies in my diet! I definitely wouldn’t pay to drink it though!
When I was little my dad would pay me a nickel to drink a dixie cup full of carrot juice. Sooooo not worth it! 🙂
yea, it definitely cost too much for my taste! Haha and I love that your dad paid you to drink carrot juice! my parents wouldn’t let me leave the table until I finished my glass of milk!
I’m going to be near a Forever 21 this weekend when I go to Salt Lake City for my Half Marathon. I might just have to make a stop.
Too true and all too familiar with the compulsive checking of the weather with marathon prep! Haha! That’s a great article for newby bloggers like myself; thanks for sharing! Don’t give up on fresh juice! There are some great tasting combinations and I’ve been told juicing is one of the best things you can do for your health! Yay for raw power! 🙂
I think I’d only do juicing if I had my own juicer, it’s just so expensive otherwise!
