Hello, hello, hello! Time for another week of Thursday Thoughts!
1. I slept through my alarm yesterday morning. It was lovely.

2. I’ve noticed that on days that I don’t go to the gym, I end up running late. I think it’s because I assume I have more time than I do, when in reality I just slept during the time I would normally be at the gym.
3. I am such a creeper but I loved this girls outfit so much waiting for the bus I tried to take a picture so I could pin it. This other girl would not get out of my way.
3. What happened to the days of looking nice for flights? I remember when I was little I had my “travel dress” that I would wear on the plane, hang up wherever we were staying, and then wear again on the flight home. Now I wear athletic gear. I blame Jessica Simpson and velour jumpsuits.
4. Um did any one else see this on April 1st? If you opened up google maps on your phone you could search for and catch Pokemon. I may or may not have been a weeee bit pokemon-obsessed in middle school.
5. I am going to Kansas City tomorrow evening after work! WOOOHOOO!
6. I have no idea how I have any friends.
7. Pro to working on Michigan Avenue: I can run errands during my lunch break! Everything is close by, or I can just walk around (well, I imagine doing so once it’s nice out). Con: clothing stores are close by… Good thing I only have an hour.

When I travel, I try to look passable, mostly because I fly from Japan, and women here still usually dress nicely for flights, so I want to fit in a bit. I work in an office with no view, well, a brick wall, so I have office view envy at the moment! This weekend, I’m going hiking with some friends, and then to a festival at a nearby temple, if we get back in time. Exciting stuff!

Whenever I’m on a plane, I definitely go for the comfy yoga or workout pants…gotta be comfortable if I sit there for several hours!

“reenactment” was a perfect caption! Also, I usually wear a dress for traveling. My favorite are maxis, because I can layer enough to be warm in minnesota, and unlayer when I get to warmer places! Sometimes I’ll do shorter dresses and leggings. I have a feeling once I’m a mom (in 10 years or so haha) I’ll be back to the sweatpants, but for now, its nice to feel nice on the plane!
Dresses are such a good idea – they are comfy and look cute!

Haha. Love the “reenactment.” I usually wear leggings and a long shirt/dress to fly. I hate dressing like a total bum but I still like to be comfy. And, I have the coolest view from my classroom! Our school is on the ocean and at the base of a mountain (and surrounded by fifty more). Theres great hiking trails up the mountain right off of our playground 🙂

Okay, I love your office view. Almost makes me miss my job in SF *sigh*
I almost dressed nice for my flight this week, but then realized if I did that then a) I would have to be traveling 10+ hours in a blazer and heels, and b) that means I would have to pack an extra “lounge” outfit for comfy wear in the hotel. My laziness and already-bursting suitcase got the best of me.
