Shalom!
I hope your weekend is going well, mine certainly is! Although I need to actually get some school work done today… Yesterday I was reading for Sports Law & Society (yes, that’s a class) and I’m thinking how easy this class would be… Well the whole 40-something pages we have to read are about antitrust law and it went way over my head… So I got frustrated and quit.
Noooot the best way to start my weekend studying. But today is all about getting my First Amendment reading done since I know I’m getting called on in class tomorrow.
Now that you’ve fallen asleep…
IT’S TIME FOR WEEKLY WORKOUT ROUNDUP!!!!
Do you like how I tried to make that sound exciting?
Here’s how I did this past week:
Monday – 1.75 mile run plus a Jillian Michaels workout video
Tuesday – Rest day (traveling all day and then going straight to an evening class)
Wednesday – 1.75 mile run + Jillian Michaels Video (or strength at gym) waited to workout until after class… never happened. Learned my lesson.
Thursday – Cycle class if I get up early enough (it’s at 5:30am) or Zumba! Plus my 1.75 mile run that I missed Wednesday
Friday – Total strength class (similar to body pump)
Saturday – 2 mile run + Cardio of some sort (maybe zumba, or elliptical) plus walking on the treadmill post-run
total miles – 5.5
Now, here’s a look at this week’s workouts:
Sunday – Total Strength class
Monday – 2 mile run + cardio (elliptical or walking)
Tuesday – REST (have an early chiropractor appointment)
Wednesday – 1.5 (or 2?) mile run + Jillian Michaels video
Thursday – Cycle or Zumba + Abs
Friday – Total Strength Class
Saturday – 2 mile run + cardio (elliptical or walking)
What are you looking forward to this week?
What’s your favorite kind of workout class?
Love it! How is your IT band feeling?!
I’ll do an update on that in a couple days! It’s alright but not 100%
I am loving the strength training sessions I have been having at the gym with the trainer. I love learning how to strength train, i always feel so good after a session. I can’t believe I waited so long to try real strength workouts. Molly, you are adorable!
I learned how to strength train with a trainer too, and it really helped my confidence in the gym!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the Valentine’s Day themed workouts this week 🙂 I am looking forward to trying a barre class for the first time this week! I received a flyer in the mail for a new studio that opened super close to my condo and they are offering a free week to new students. I hope I like it!
Oooo that will be fun! I thought it was definitely tough, but something you’d want to commit to long term to really see some amazing results
I’m intrigued by the total strength class. I wonder if my gym offers anything similar.
I hope we get to hear all about your chiropractor appointment. Especially if the cute guy is there when you go 🙂
You should look, I wouldn’t be surprised. Mine’s very similar to body pump (or so I assume). Haha and I doubt he’ll be there, but at least I have his name and #…
hahah your studying sounds just like mine! I am in accounting and when people ask me what I’m studying they just give me this funny look! 🙂
Haha right? I try not to get into too much detail…
sounds like your IT band is doing well!
it’s improving but not 100%, hopefully I’ll have an update up soon.
I love seeing your workouts for the week! It inspires me to plan ahead some and decide which days will be gym days and which will be running days based on my schedule.
I’m looking forward to my 21st birthday on Thursday!! WOO! Then I’m headed to NYC for the weekend for an audition! Just have to make it a few more days before all of the excitement!
planning ahead definitely helps me, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Have a great 21st, how perfect that you’re going right after your birthday!
I am looking forward to next weekend (yep already haha)! I’m hopefully having a pizza and movie night with an old co-worker one night and then going out with a bunch of my friends on the other! Haven’t done either in a long time, so I’m excited! And these days, yoga classes are my favorite! I’m looking forward to checking one out with a friend on Wednesday 🙂
I hope you have a good time at yoga with your friend! I don’t think I’ve ever gone with anyone else… I’m afraid a good friend would make me laugh…
Haha I just love your workout schedule image with Molly in the middle! She’s the cutest little Valentine ever! 🙂
Molly really is the best Valentine, she’s always happy to see you!
love the variety!
There’s a fitness class at my gym called Hip Hop Groove and it’s insanely fun. I’m always sad when the class is over haha
Um, HIP HOP GROOVE!? that sounds amazing!
I love all classes! The group setting is definitely for me. I love Body Pump, yoga, spinning, Turbo Kick and Zumba the most. 🙂
Haha you do love classes! I think Turbo Kick is the only one of those I’ve never been to (well, I’ve never been to Body Pump but my class is similar!)
I LOVE that graphic you made for your workouts. Bahahahha!
Haha I know, I laugh every time I look at it!
[…] everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend, I certainly did! If you missed it, here is my weekly workout roundup, posted […]
