Hey there, I hope you’re all have a good week! It’s time for another round of Thursday Thoughts!
1. I really want a chocolate chip cookie right now. Maybe it’s because I’m really hungry, but that’s all I can think of at the moment.
2. This past weekend I had the pleasure of Molly-sitting! If you follow me on instagram, you probably already knew this… So many Molly photos!
3. One of the things I loved most about Molly sitting (other than the non-stop cuteness) was that it gave me the perfect reason to spend half my weekend outside! Molly absolutely loves running around the park, so we spent plenty of time doing so!
4. I got my hair trimmed on Saturday and the stylist insisted on blowing out my hair. Unfortunately Saturday was a very hot and humid day (which I spent outside with Molly…). My hair went from this:‘‘‘
To this, in a matter of minutes.
5. My friend, Julie, and I love watching The Bachelorette. This week was especially Bachelorette filled since there were two, two-hour nights! I’m going to have withdrawals next week when it isn’t on…
6. Random, but yesterday I was waiting for a friend to get off work in my neighborhood and I was standing on this tree stump so that I had a better view. I felt like the Lorax! Then some guy made fun of me, so that ended quickly…
7. Had to throw in another Molly picture for good measure. I miss her already and it’s only been a few days!

Molly is so cute!! A chocolate chip cookie sounds great. Alas, I gave up desserts and alcohol until I lose some weight. It was getting crazy.

also, molly and dory probably need a play date. she has no fear of big dogs and she needs furry friends to wear her out! tired puppy = sleeping through the night = happy human 🙂
I don’t straighten it in the summer (well I rarely straighten it at all) so it’s not too bad curly. And molly LOVES playdates! I’ll be puppy sitting her from like the 30th of June through July 5th!
My hair is a crazy frizz ball…I would never last in a humid place! At least you rock the curls super well!

I don’t know if I would call myself a Bachelorette fan, but I’ve been watching this season and I’m pretty into it. I remember when The Bachelor first premiered, and over the years I’ve had several friends who have tried to get me to watch it and I just never really got into it (and that Juan Pablo fiasco certainly solidified my internal feminist struggle for some aspects of the show). But with the Bachelorette, it’s this complete role reversal that has me genuinely intrigued, that almost purposefully goes against most relationship stereotypes that are pushed on men: Now there are guys primping and spending hours getting ready for dates, fussing over emotions and shared time, wondering if she’s going to call them next…and there are just so many different personalities right now, it’s like the ultimate opportunity to people watch. =P
Maybe that’s why I like it so much: I LOVE people watching!
