Hey everyone! Today’s WIAW follows me around on a normal study day! If you’re new to WIAW, be sure to head over to Peas and Crayons to see what it’s all about and the other participating bloggers!
Wake up. Drink about 1/3 of that coffee and some water while posting my blog.
(just fyi – that cup is supposed to be bright yellow. just an indication of the beautiful 5am lighting…)
Get dressed. Go to gym.
Come home. Shower. Get dressed again (sorry no photos of that…).
Eat overnight oats (1/3 cup oatbran, 1 container plain non dairy yogurt, 1 T psyllium husks, almond milk, cinnamon, stevia and almond butter).
Go to school! Stylish outfit…
Walk to the bus.
Wait for the bus. Several pass that are already full…
Ride the bus.
Go to Starbucks. Wait in line.
Drink iced coffee. Sit in class for 4 hours.
Eat a Quest Bar during class.
Decide to eat lunch at Hannah’s Bretzel after class because it was horrendously painful and I’m feeling horrendously hungry. Delicious.
Go home.
Do some studying. Have some peach “ice cream” (peaches, almond milk, stevia, pinch of salt, about 1 T protein powder, and ice in Vitamix) with chocolate sauce (cocoa powder, water).
Already hungry about 45 min later. Eat banana (un-pictured…) with almond butter.
While watching a bit of The Bachelorette… Gotta break up the afternoon.
Go see MOLLY!
Take Molly on a short walk.
Go home and have dinner (eggs, spinach, sweet potato, and sauerkraut mixed with a laughing cow cheese wedge and ketchup).
Have a couple ginger chews while doing more questions.
Write this post. Go to bed. NIGHT!
What’s your day like?
What was your favorite meal yesterday?
oooh tomorrow we are RESCUING OUR MOLLY.
ok she wont be named molly but still…
🙂
I’m so glad you’re getting a new dog!!!
That peach ice cream sounds great! I love making banana ice cream but have never tried with frozen peaches. My favorite meal yesterday was oatmeal for breakfast! I had been eating it every morning for breakfast and havent had it in a few weeks.
I love trying it with all different frozen fruits!
Good luck with all the studying!
Thank you, Jamie!
You study queen!
Your lunch looks good, I would like it right now.
lol just go to Hannah’s Bretzel!
My day was pretty good; I loved my egg wrap!
Oooo an egg wrap sounds good!
That was a very long Starbucks line, haha. I’m so impatient when it comes to that 😛
Haha it was very long but it moves SO fast! I’m always out of there in about 5-8 minutes!
Ha I definitely wrote the exact same sort of post today! I love seeing what people’s daily lives are like. Favourite meal yesterday was the sweet potato nachos I made for dinner. Those were amazing.
Oooo sweet potato nachos sounds good!
Mmmm your dinner sounds good!
Ok, maybe I totally missed this, but why are you taking more classes? You graduated!
To be a lawyer and be able to practice I have to pass the Bar exam, which is a big 2 day exam for both the US and whatever state you’re in, so I’m taking a review class and studying all summer… womp womp.
I LOVE the idea of mixing sauerkraut with Laughing Cow cheese and ketchup! I never know what to do with my leftover sauerkraut after I use it for a dish (I always seem to have leftovers!). This sounds perfect. I will definitely be giving this a try :).
Haha I’ve never actually used it for a dish, I just eat it in weird ways like that…
I have totally been wondering if you can make overnight oats with oatbran… how does it compare to regular oats? 🙂 I do love me some oatbran!
I did a similar “Day in the Life” post for today’s WIAW, too! 🙂
It works just the same as oatmeal, and comes out just about the same too!
These posts are so fun, I love day in the life posts.
I loveeee those ginger candies!!! I had some and now I can’t find them anywhere which makes me a tad sad.
Starbucks lines are the death of my day. Haha, at least it’s worth it in the end:)
I love my coffee.
Favorite meal yesterday was probably good ol’ Breakfast.
I get them at Whole Foods and sometimes I find them at World Market, although I don’t know if you have either of those? I tend to see them at the most random stores too… And yes, starbucks is ALWAYS worth the wait!
Your lunch looks good! How’s Hannah’s gluten free bread?
I tried a purple sweet potato yesterday… it was interesting!
I had their GF bread at another location last summer and it was awful, but I’ve had it at the one by my school several times over the past few months (like way too many times to say without it being shameful) and it’s SO GOOD! Well, for gf bread 🙂
That looks like my life right now except I’m studying for my registered dietitian exam! Studying full time is tough!
Good luck on your exam!
You are incredibly good at arching your eyebrows. Do you know that? 🙂 Lol.
The frozen peach ice cream looks awesome! I helped make something similar with pineapple and frozen almond milk over the weekend.
Haha I did not know that! And I LOVE doing it with pineapple – tastes like pina colada!
I really want to get a vitamix, but I don’t know if I will use it enough. Ugh!
honestly, I don’t use it enough to justify having one. Good thing it was a gift!
What’s a bretzel? A bread/pretzel combo? Sounds pretty good!
Haha you’re right! Although I don’t get mine on their bretzel bread, I get their GF bread!
Overnight oats are my fav! I’ve never tried almond butter with overnight oats, I’m going to have to give that a whirl. Good luck with all your bar studying!
Thanks, Kathryn! P.S. LOVE how you spell you’re name. Best way 😉
favorite meal yesterday was probably my breakfast – I look forward to it every morning 🙂
and we love our starbucks!!
yay starbucks!
Check out that AWESOME ice cream creation!! Nicely done!
Haha thanks!
My favorite meal yesterday was just some leftover chicken and spaghetti squash…but I was doing a training at work and couldn’t eat until 2:30 so by that point it was simply the most delicious thing ever 😉
Haha I think anything would be amazing to me at that point!
I love these kind of posts, I must do one soon! Your peach ice cream sounds so good!
You should!!
what kind of dairy free yogurt do you get? Never heard of it! Would love to get some!
I don’t normally buy dairy free yogurt but I tried out Amande (http://amandeyogurt.com/) on suggestion of a friend of mine who is dairy free. I also needed to buy some for a recipe for an event she would be at, so I thought it was the perfect time to try it out!
I thought you needed to eat dairy and gluten free, though?
Is oat bran gluten free?
